Die HV DC/DC-Softwarequalifikation von ASIL-B zu ASIL-C

Overview

The project aimed to enhance the software architecture of a high-voltage DC/DC converter from ASIL-B to ASIL-C.

The first step involved a detailed analysis of the existing software architecture, followed by creating comprehensive signal flow analyses to ensure integrity continuity. The main goal was to adapt the software to meet ASIL-C requirements. This was achieved through the integration of safety libraries, monitoring of logical program flow, and conducting decomposition and partitioning.

Key tasks included adapting the Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL) to ASIL-C standards, integrating necessary safety functions, and implementing required software changes across requirements, architecture, design, implementation, and testing phases. AUTOSAR 4.2, Infineon Aurix TC27x, and the Vector toolchain were utilized to ensure thorough testing and implementation of all adaptations according to safety standards.

This project required a deep understanding of both software and hardware components to ensure a smooth and secure upgrade process. Sensified undertook the execution of this project to ensure compliance with high safety standards and seamless implementation.
